Web beacons are used to monitor online behaviour for marketing purposes in order to determine which products and services you might be interested in. In addition to using web beacons on web pages, we also use them in email messages sent to individuals listed in the database of Optimal Performance Training.

In order to accomplish this, we conduct research to determine the efficacy of our Services, enhance our Services, and better comprehend the Optimal Performance Training community. DATA ANALYTICS AND ADVERTISING
1. Data Analytics
We may use third-party web analytics services (such as Google Analytics (including Google Signals, Google User-ID, and other Google Analytics features) and MixPanel) on our Services to collect and analyse usage information through cookies and similar tools; engage in auditing, research, or reporting; assist in fraud prevention; attempt to locate the same unique users across multiple browsers or devices to better tailor services and features; and provide certain functionality. If you have a Google account with personalised advertising enabled, Google will also be able to collect analytics and engagement data from the various devices you use to access the Services via Google Signals. Installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on will prevent Google from using your data for analytics (including cross-device tracking for personalization purposes). To opt out of Google Signals, open the "Settings" app, locate and tap "Google," select "Ads," and toggle "Opt out of Ads Personalization" to the ON position. You may also be able to disable cross-device tracking through the settings on your Android or iOS device.
If you receive an email from us, we may employ certain analytics tools, such as clear GIFs, to collect information such as when you open our message or click on any links or banners it contains. This information enables us to determine the efficacy of our communications and marketing campaigns.
2. Online Advertising
The Services may integrate third-party advertising technologies (e.g., ad networks and ad servers such as Facebook, Google AdWords, Criteo, and others) that use cookies and other technologies to deliver relevant content and advertising for products on the Services as well as on other websites you visit and applications you use. The advertisements may be based on a variety of factors, such as the page you are viewing, the information you enter, such as your searches, your demographic data, and other information we collect about you. These advertisements may be based on your current or historical activity across multiple websites and online services.
We may share customer information (such as email addresses) with service providers, who may "match" this information in de-identified form to cookies (or mobile ad identifiers) and other proprietary IDs in order to serve you more relevant advertisements when you visit other websites and mobile applications.
We do not have access to, nor does this Privacy Statement govern, the use of cookies or other tracking technologies that may be placed on your device by unaffiliated third-party advertising network services when you access the Services. You can visit the Network Advertising Initiative's Consumer Opt-Out link, the Digital Advertising Alliance's Consumer Opt-Out link, or the Your Online Choices link to opt out of receiving tailored advertising from companies that participate in those programmes if you are interested in learning more about tailored browser advertising and how to control the placement of cookies on your computer for the delivery of tailored advertising. If you wish to learn more about Criteo's privacy policies or how to opt out of Criteo's advertising services, you may view their Privacy Policy. Visit the Google Ads Settings page to opt out of Google Analytics for display advertising or customise Google display network ads. We have no control over these opt-out links or the companies that elect to participate in these opt-out programmes. We are not liable for any decisions you make using these mechanisms, nor for their continued availability or accuracy.
Please note that if you exercise the aforementioned opt-out options, you will still see advertisements when using the Services, but they will not be tailored to your online behaviour over time.
3. Mobile Advertising
When using our or third-party mobile applications, you may also receive customised in-application advertisements. We may use third-party service providers to deliver advertisements on mobile applications or to perform analytics on mobile applications. Each operating system, iOS for Apple phones, Android for Android devices, and Windows for Microsoft devices, offers its own instructions for preventing the delivery of personalised in-application advertisements. We have no control over how the applicable platform operator permits you to opt out of receiving tailored in-application advertisements; therefore, you should contact the platform provider for more information on how to opt out of receiving tailored in-application advertisements. To opt out of tailored in-app advertisements, consult the respective operating system's documentation and/or device settings.
4. Email Marketing
By submitting your email address via the Site, you consent to receive emails from Optimal Performance Training about our products and services. Without your permission, we will not share your email address with third parties. To opt out of receiving email from us, click the "Unsubscribe" link in each email. Please allow us up to 10 business days to fulfil your request. Please note that even if you opt out of receiving marketing emails from us, you may still receive transactional emails concerning your order(s) (i.e., order confirmation, shipping information, etc.). Please contact us at info@optimalperformancetraining.ca if you have any questions or concerns about this provision.
5. Notice Concerning Do Not Track
Do Not Track ("DNT") is a privacy preference that certain web browsers allow users to set. We are committed to providing you with meaningful options regarding the information collected on our website for third-party purposes, which is why we offer the opt-out mechanisms described above. However, we currently do not recognise or respond to DNT signals initiated by browsers. You can learn more about Do Not Track on this page.

They provide billing, sales, marketing, advertising, analytics, research, customer service, shipping and fulfilment, data storage, IT and security, fraud prevention, payment processing, as well as auditing and legal services.
Legal Compliance. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that we may access, retain, and disclose information we collect and maintain about you if reasonably required to comply with a subpoena or court order, or to enforce our Terms of Service, Privacy Statement, or Optimal Performance Training's legal rights.
Business Transfers. As Optimal Performance Training continues to expand, we may acquire, merge with, or form partnerships with other businesses. In such transactions, your information may be transferred along with other assets.
Community Forums. Certain features of our Services enable you to publicly share comments with other users. We may use any information submitted through these features for any purpose (including in testimonials or other marketing materials). For instance, if you submit a product review on one of our websites or blogs, we may display it (along with your name, if provided) on other Optimal Performance Training websites and third-party websites. Any information you post publicly in these ways will be accessible to the general public and may be indexed by third-party search engines. Please use caution when utilising these features.
Information that has been de-identified and aggregated. We reserve the right to create Aggregate/De-Identified Data from the information collected via the Services, and the sharing of such data is at our sole discretion.

The Optimal Performance Training website and email communications may contain hyperlinks to the websites of third parties on occasion. Optimal Performance Training is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of such websites. Websites that are linked may contain links to websites operated by third parties. These links are provided solely for your reference and convenience. We will implement reasonable and appropriate security procedures to safeguard data against unauthorised physical and electronic access. Unfortunately, no Internet data transmission or data storage method can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we make every effort to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee or warrant the absolute security of any information you transmit to us or archive on this website, even though we make every effort to do so.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Federal law imposes special restrictions and obligations on operators of commercial websites that target and collect information from children under 13 years of age. Consistent with these age restrictions, we do not intend for our Website or Services to be used by anyone under the age of 18, and by no means anyone under the age of 13. In addition, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 years of age. If we learn that a person under the age of 18 has provided us with personal information through our Website or Services, we will delete that information and not use it for any purpose. We encourage parents and legal guardians to discuss with their children the risks associated with providing personal information over the Internet.
Amendments to this Privacy Statement
We reserve the right to modify or update this Privacy Statement at any time. Due to the fact that all information collected is subject to the Privacy Policy in place at the time of collection, please check our website periodically for updates.
